This publication is the combining of the three volumes entitled “The Story of Sawbridgeworth” and issued by the Workers Education Association between 1966-1970.  It is the only detailed series of the history, schools and churches of Sawbridgeworth and to ensure continued availability of anyone interested in the area, Bishop’s Stortford and District Local History Society has reset this re-issue using the original script and photographs where available.
