This book explores the Sawbridgeworth Mill. The area is now known as Burton’s Mill reflecting the names of the last mill owners. The mill forms a large part of the history of Sawbridgeworth and was recorded in the Domesday Book. Unfortunately the Mill was beset by a fire in 1975, destroying much of the old structure.
