Description
This book is the product of a long, dedicated and emotional journey of discovery by the author. What has been revealed are the fascinating family and military stories of no fewer than 68 boys from one small school in the one small town of Hitchin, who made the ultimate sacrifice in the ‘War to End all Wars’
This is not a book about monarchs, strategies and treaties, this is a book about the ordinary individuals whose lives, and the lives of whose families , were thrown into chaos by a conflict which still touches almost every family to this day.
