In recognition of the sacrifice made by so many young men of Great Britain and the Commonwealth, memorials were erected throughout countries recording those who lost their lives and Bengeo was no exception.

This booklet contains the names of the men who lived in or had connections with the Parish of Holy Trinity with Christ Church Bengeo, together with the fullest description local memory and official records can afford. Each entry is accompanied by a short piece of personal detail.
