The buildings we see in Ware today have had many different faces over time. Many date back to the 15th century at which time the view would have been of timber not brick. This guide offers a walk through the town and details the many listed buildings and other items that remain today. Based on the Historic England listings it reveals the architectural developments of merit and where possible the past history of the buildings. A glossary accompanies the guide explaining some of the more technical terms in use and a short history guide helps place the development of Ware in time.
