Just arrived

From June to August 2024, we received 41 new accessions (Above: programme for ‘Salad Days’ at Watford Palace Theatre, 1962) Acc 6637)

They included further records from Braughing Local History Society (Acc 6625); baptism and marriage registers for West Hers and Borders Methodist Circuit, 1860s – 2017 (Acc 6630); a sales brochure for Digswell House, 1986 (Acc 6631); memorabilia relating to productions at Watford Palace Theatre in the 1960s and 70s (Acc 6637); notes on Bovingdon Airport in the 1940s (Acc 6642) and some wonderful scrapbook and samples of work by students at Hockerill College in Bishops Stortford – they include some lovely drawings and paintings from the beginning of the 20th century (Acc 6641). Parish registers for Puttenham, Aldbury, Tring, Hatfield and Graveley were also deposited.
