- Description: The collection was created by Jack Edwards and was initially used when he delivered illustrated talks on local history. He went on to publish several books of photographs of the Cheshunt area to create a more permanent record of Cheshunt in the past. The photographs were copied from the Local Illustrations Collection at Cheshunt Library, which started with a nucleus of photographs taken by the late Mr E J Carter of the Lea Valley Photographic society, and was extended by many other and older photographs which were donated by residents
